Scope of Work

​

Construction for a new generator and diesel tank enclosure for the NYS DEC Blue Mountain Fire Tower Radio Facility.

​

• Selective tree removal at site for new generator and diesel pad structures. 

• Excavate to bedrock for new pier foundation with steel reinforcement drilled and epoxied into bedrock. 

• Form and pour concrete piers that serve as foundation for structural steel framing for new generator and diesel tank enclosure. 

• Restore site to existing or better condition by providing seeding and mulch at designed locations.

Interesting Fact

​

This project was located on top of a mountain where the access was challenging with the steep and deteriorating road. This was the first that Jiwan had encountered and although we did face hardships, we did not back away from a challenge.
